That is Daddy!
Yes that was me burning through a few more minutes of my 15 of fame. Gale Anderson from KTLA needed a tour guide through the 80’ Voyager at the Lido Yacht Expo and I was called to duty. I as up at 4:00am and to the boat by 5:30, Gale and the crew showed up at 6:00. I was wire and miked for witty banter and away we went. We shot 3 live spots, 2 bumpers and an interview for I guess the 10:00pm news. Gale and the crew were very nice, laughing at all my stupid jokes and didn’t treat me like just another interview even though they do hundreds per year. After the shoot we ate the breakfast donated by Plums on 17th and drank champagne lifted from the boats wine locker. All in all it was fun and a great way to kick off the show. I did get a few “didn’t I see you on the new this morning” from a few clients.
